SUMMARY:Raymarine Double Handed Figure of Eight Race
DESCRIPTION:The Figure of 8 Double Handed Round Malta Race is the longer of the two short handed races in the RMYC calendar and now in its 23rd year. \nIt follows a figure of eight course around the two islands passing through the Comino channels. \nThis short handed race has been popular since its inception and the trophy bears the names of most of Malta’s best sailors.

SUMMARY:Mapfre Middlesea Euromed Regatta
DESCRIPTION:Euromed 2016 regatta shall take place on the waters around Mellieha Bay on the northeast shore of Malta \nThe race office\, boat storage and launching location is on Mellieha Bay beach\, a few minutes walk from the hotel. The race office is a beach lido which offers close proximity to the boat park\, preparation and launch areas on the beach as well as a restaurant and bar\, with terrace offering excellent view of the bay and the racing in the distance. \nThe following Class Rules will apply. \n\nThe International Optimist Dinghy Association\nThe International Laser Class Association\n\nThis event is being supported by Yachting Malta \n

SUMMARY:RMYC Boxing Day Fun Race
DESCRIPTION:On Monday 26th December\, the Club will be organising the annual Boxing Day Fun Race in aid of L-Istrina (Malta Community Chest Fund). \nWe really hope that many of you will take part in this fun event which this year will see races for both keelboats and dinghies being organised. A best dressed boat/sailor will be awarded a prize. Racing will start at 10:30hrs. \nFor those racing on our RS Visions\,  teams will be of two per boat.  A minimum donation of €5 per person will be collected and will be given to L-Istrina immediately after racing on Boxing Day.  Mulled wine and mince pies will be waiting at the Club’s Bar for all those taking part. \nIn order to take part\, members are invited to register at the Club Secretariat on Monday 19th from 09.30hrs to 17.00hrs and Tuesday 20th December from 09:30hrs and 12.30hrs. \nAs always please direct any queries to the Secretariat via email on info@rmyc.org or  a call on +356 21 333 109.
