Focus Groups
Dear Yachting Colleagues,
Kindly refer the list of Yachting Malta focus groups and the relative dates around which the consultation week will be organised.
The sessions which are open to yachting stakeholders will take place between the 27th August and 4th September 2015 from 17:00 – 19:00 hrs at the conference room of the Royal Malta Yacht Club.
The theme dates will be organised as follows:
Thursday 27th August Education, New and Young Sailors (Yachting academy, new/young sailors and skills/trades)
Monday 31st August Super Yachts & Yacht Services (Berthed and yard services – standards, service quality assurance, the wider picture, long-term success and reputation)
Tuesday 1st September Yachting Infrastructure (Marinas, breakwaters, temporary moorings, land reclamation projects, sailing club branches and extensions and European centre of excellence)
Wednesday 2nd September Chartering, Visiting Yachts & Malta as a Cruising Destination
Thursday 3rd September Malta’s Yachting Marketing Strategy (Team Malta, new sponsors, new yachting projects and events, EU and IOC funding)
Friday 4th September (16:30-18:30) Policy, Fiscal & Legislative (Integrated Maritime Policy, chartering regulations, Malta flag)
Yachting Malta is open to suggestions from any interested parties who are willing to contribute to the development of the sector on a national level via yachting related events, projects, new ideas and solutions.
Please do not hesitate to forward this invitation to other persons whom you believe may give a constructive contribution to the yachting sector.
There are no fees to attend the sessions, whilst coffees and refreshments will be provided.
