Yachting Malta Race Week – Cruisers’ Rally
As part of its initiatives around Yachting Malta Race Week, Yachting Malta – in collaboration witih local sailing clubs will be organising a Cruisers’ Rally which will consist of a weekend filled with leisurely cruising, allowing each participant to set their own pace.
Schedule of Events
Thursday 30th May
1900hrs – Briefing and Crew Party
Vikings Sailing Club
Friday 31st May – Leg 1
Fleets sets sail to Birzebbugia Sailing Club (BSC) and will anchor in Birzebbugia upon arrival. A water taxi will be organised by BSC.
At 1900hrs a Pasta night will be hosted by the Club. Cash Bar will be available at the Club.
Saturday 1st June – Leg 2
Fleet departs Birzebbugia on its way to Malta Young Sailors Club in St. Paul’s Bay. For those who wish, there will be an optional stop in Paradise Bay for lunch (each boat to provide their own lunch).
At 1900hrs a BBQ will be organised by Malta Young Sailors Club. Cash Bar will be available at the Club
Sunday 2nd June – Leg 3
Fleet departs St. Paul’s Bay and makes its way to Marsamxett Harbour and the Royal Malta Yacht Club.
At 1800hrs participation trophies will be presented and followed by a stand up wine and pizza evening
