Experienced Events Organiser Alexander Kitcher joins the Yachting Malta Team
Experienced events organiser Alexander Kitcher has been named Events Manager for Yachting Malta.
Alexander’s event management portfolio includes some of Malta’s highest profile events including the official opening event of the Valletta 2018 European Capital of Culture, two editions of the Valletta Pageant of the Seas as well as staple events like Notte Bianca, Malta Jazz Festival, Malta Baroque Festival, Malta Carnival and more recently the official opening and closing ceremonies of the Special Olympics Invitational Games.
Working for a number of years in the media industry, Alexander is passionate about sailing, the enthusiasm brought about through is involvement in the late Teddy Borg production of the immensely popular television programme Starboard. Along the years, Alexander produced and presented several television programmes – Il-Qoxra, Knots and Spinnaker all relating to sailing and yachting.
