Hon. Chris Agius Appointed Yachting Malta Chairman
Yachting Malta Ltd today announced the appointment of the Hon. Chris Agius MP as Chairman of Yachting Malta.
The official appointment was presented by the Minister for Transport, Infrastructure and Capital Projects, Hon. Aaron Farrugia.
Hon. Agius succeeds Jonathan Borg and is the fourth Chairman of the public private partnership set up in 2015 with the Royal Malta Yacht Club.
A politician with many years of experience, he has focused on a wide range of issues affecting Maltese society. At the same time Yachting Malta was incepted, he served as Parliamentary Secretary for Reserch, Innovation, Youth and Sport and has served in various key positions in government and has been involved in shaping policies that aim to improve the well-being of the Maltese population as well as foster economic growth.
