Day 1 – Yachting Malta BSC International Regatta
Light winds were the order of the day during the opening event of the Yachting Malta BSC International Regatta.
Both the Optimist and ILCA fleets managed to fit in one race today, with Artis Kristers Graudums (LAT 138) winning the Optimist Seniors and Katrina Briffa (MLT 259) winning the Novice Class.
On the ILCA course Benjamin Vassallo and Matthew Flores won ILCA 4 and ILCA 6 races respectively.
Trophée Bailli de Suffren epitomises classic sailing, history and beautiful Mediterranean locations. No better way for the fleet to end this race in Malta.
Yachting Malta welcomed the fleet and looks forward to hosting it very soon next year!
The final leg of the Trophée Bailli de Suffren sees the fleet enjoy time in the small and laid back island of Gozo.
