Yachting Malta to make its debut at the Cannes Yachting Festival

Yachting Malta, will be establishing a significant milestone between the 12th and 17th September, when it will be making its debut in the renowned Cannes Yachting Festival.

The prestigious event will take place in Cannes, France and every year the Yachting Festival hosts an eclectic exhibition which is set to welcome over 50,000 visitors, 610 exhibitors, over 500 journalists and some of the biggest actors in the boating industry.

Yachting Malta’s stand, which will be located on on 𝐒𝐭𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝟐𝟖 𝐚𝐭 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐏𝐚𝐥𝐚𝐢𝐬 𝐝𝐞s 𝐅𝐞𝐬𝐭𝐢𝐯𝐚𝐥𝐬, will also welcome the Malta Tourism Authority, the Malta Ship Registry and the Super Yacht Industry Network who accepted Yachting Malta’s invitation to be present.

Yachting Malta’s presence at the Cannes Yachting Festival will continue to reinforce Malta’s reputation as an all-year round destination for yachting events as well as showcase its ship registry, one of the highly respected registries in the world, and which it continues to maintain itsas the sixth largest ship register in the world, and holds the top spot as the largest tonnage register in Europe. Added to this, is the evergrowing Super Yacht Registry which has also experienced a remarkable 51% increase in registrations for super yachts exceeding 24 metres in length.   Also present in Cannes at the Yachting Malta stand will be Malta’s National Tourism Authority, who is working hand in hand with Yachting Malta to enhance Malta’s offering as a Yachting Destination of excellence.
